Definitions

Box means corrugated cardboard box or packing or wooden box or crate which we provide for your shipment.

Carriage means transport of goods which we accept or carry under this Shipping Declaration form from our warehouse/s in Sri Lanka or in the event of door delivery under this agreement to consignee's address, and relevant supporting activities including but not limited to right to dispose certain items, transport, pick up, storage at our warehouses, packing, stuffing in shipping containers.

Cargo means goods including your personal effects.

Consignee means the location where you will pick up empty boxes and receive relevant shipping declaration forms and our delivery your shipment together with completed shipping declaration form, and make the full payment for the shipment.

Consignee means the receiver of the shipment.

Commercial goods means cargo with commercial value or used for business/commercial purposes.

Custom charges means duties, taxes and charges imposed by Australian or Sri Lanka Customs or quarantine services for your shipment.

Hazardous and prohibited items means cargo/goods specified under the Sri Lanka and Australian Quarantine, Customs laws including but not limited to dangerous goods defined under TAJ Transport policy, customs and quarantine laws of Australia and any material specified by competent authorities in Sri Lanka including Department of Government of Sri Lanka as hazardous and dangerous.

Shipper or You means whoever delivers your shipment to receiver's address.

We, us, our means the person who signs the Shipping Declaration and considered as the owner of the shipment. Normally you will be the "shipper".

1) Our Responsibilities and Service Scope

• Our responsibilities end at Sri Lanka under the Shipping Declaration.
• Our responsibility for your shipping commence upon receiving fully packed (or not, by you) marked and securely sealed shipment at our designated location or pickup location and until door delivery (if service requested), not including door pickup limit within the agreed box size.
• If door delivery is not included: our responsibility ends from this warehouse. Paying any customs charges if your shipment gets picked.
• If your shipment includes cargo prohibited by Australian laws, we reserve the right to terminate the consignment.
• We do not share any shipping declaration.
• We are not liable in danger declared, stolen goods, prohibited goods, perishable goods, commercial goods or not declared items.
• We hold the right not to accept or process your shipment if shipment is containing dangerous and hazardous goods, prohibited items, or any breach of law or this Shipping Declaration.
• You must notify us immediately if your cargo contains commercial goods or advertisements material or any items which may endanger human, our property, personnel, or shipping vessels.

2) Your Responsibility for this shipment

• You must provide complete, accurate information and reasonable value under this Shipping Declaration.
• Read, understand, accept & agree to Terms & Conditions of the Shipping Declaration.
• Clearly and correctly fill out declaration form & Conditions.
• DO NOT include dangerous and hazardous goods, prohibited goods, commercial goods or contravening materials in this shipment.
• While we will do our best to handle it in good faith, the Shipping Declaration which we accept your shipment is based on good faith by you in the Shipping Declaration.
• Not exceed weight limits (when packaged/label) when indicated in the box.
• Pack goods as such that box be secure; suitable for the carriage.
• Must complete and complete the shipping declaration together with ID documents and the shipment will fall under our not nominated collection center.
• Any amount due and outstanding at the value of your shipment indicated in clause 4.
• You are fully liable to pay any customs charges and other charges imposed by Australian Customs or Quarantine services for your shipment.

Right to Inspect Your Shipment

We reserve the right to inspect your shipment (at Australia or Sri Lanka or during carriage) for any prohibited or contravening items for customs, port compliance, box type or other inspection requirements as per law or requirements. We urge you to properly declare your items and cooperate with the authorities.

Contaminated packing (includes food and liquids) will be rejected. Contaminated packing or foul odour and AUD $100 (non-refundable) will be charged as disposal fee.

Your total cost

If your items do not meet required carriage requirements or are unpacked, not within the box weight / box dimensions / not properly sealed, we reserve the right to charge minimum payment if box cannot be delivered.

Your Delivery Window

We deliver your shipment to nominated address of Sri Lanka. We reserve the right to store, hold or terminate delivery at any time during the carriage.

• Late collection fees may apply if your shipment is not picked up within 7 days.
• Please follow instructions for address and delivery hours.
• Late notice fees may apply in Sri Lanka for change of delivery address or delay.
• Photo ID is required to collect.

Your responsibility for Advertisement

You must not use this advertisement or items quoted by us or published in public media to form the basis of your shipping or price without referring to this document.

Your Insurance

• All VOI rates and charges quoted by us for our services DOES NOT include insurance or insurance cost.
• We do not take carriage-based liability for your loss, damage or cost of goods incurred during packing and carriage.
• We are not liable for mishandled items.
• You must obtain insurance.
• We are not liable for third parties called when journeying and you must be responsible for verifying carriers, their vehicles, labels, seals, box dimensions, other parties.

Other Terms

• Our responsibility ends at time of delivery.
• Claims must be submitted within 14 days.
• In the event of a breach or violation of this declaration, you must notify us.
• Packing cost AUD 20 per box and you may not be entitled to refund.
• You are responsible for obtaining insurance. We do not provide implied insurances of goods.
• We are not liable for delay.
• We will not be held liable for traffic or load pickup delays.

This agreement is governed by the carriage shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the state of Victoria - Australia.
